Equestrian Trails The trails in Donald Park were created through the joint efforts of Dane County Parks, The Friends of Donald Park, Inc, community volunteers and willing landowners. These trails are maintained by Dane County Parks with help from volunteers. Questions? View our FAQ document.

Trails are sometimes closed for various reasons please check the Dane County Parks site for current conditons.

New trail construction is underway and you can help by donating your time and/or a tax deductible contribution. Contact Roger at 608-832-4410.

The 2009 equestiran trail work days will be on the first Saturday of the month through Nov 28th, except for July.   The July workday will be the second Saturday.

Volunteers are welcome to drop in at Pat Hitchcock's bunkhouse at 1870 Sutter Drive at 8:15

Get your 2009 trail pass from Friends of Donald Park! When you buy your season trail pass from Friends of Donald Park, Inc 100% of your fee goes directly toward the maintenance of Donald Park trails. Park Attractions Maps Equestrian Trails Master Plan Home The fee for the 2009 season will be $17 ($10 for seniors 65 and better). This permit is also good for any of the other county parks with equestrian trails. Call Jean at 608-497-0574 to purchase permits or send your check, payable to Friends of Donald Park, to PO Box 235, Mount Horeb, WI 53572.  Be sure to write "Train Pass" on your check and to include your return address so passes can be mailed to you.
